Mistakes happen—sometimes a lead gets deleted by accident. Good news: you can now recreate a deleted lead quickly and easily without starting from scratch. Instead of re-entering all the details, you can bring back most of the original data in just a few clicks.
What Gets Restored
When you recreate a lead:
All key information from the deleted lead is preloaded into the recreate form.
What’s not included: Internal Forms (IF), files, schedulers, and tasks will need to be added manually.
How to Recreate a Deleted Lead
Navigate to the Deleted category within your Leads menu.
Find the deleted lead among your list and select the Details button to access their lead profile.
Click the Recreate Lead button at the top of the profile.
A Recreate Lead window will appear with the original lead’s details already filled in. Review the information and make any updates if needed.
Once the lead is recreated, it will automatically trigger our marketing communications based on their Lead and Children Statuses. To ensure the client receives the most relevant communication, you may want to update those statuses on this form.
After reviewing, select the Save button.
You’ll be redirected to the new lead profile, recreated from the deleted lead.
After restoring, double-check any missing items (like files or tasks) and add them back to keep the lead complete.
